I Heart NY
I like New York in June September, how about you? I’ll be visiting NYC for a few days with my wife and son. It’s been about ten years since I’ve been back, longer for Jenni, and this will be the first time for H. It’s half birthday trip for him, and half Blue’s Clues reunion (30 years!) for us.
The Novel
It turns out I need to do a lot more editing. Apparently, 70K words for a middle-grade novel by a debut author isn’t very marketable. So I’m cutting 20K words as we speak. It may be more challenging than writing the whole thing in the first place.
Artsy
Having been living mostly in ComputerLand for so many years, I almost forgot how to hold a pencil. Just kidding. Some things you never forget. It’s about time I started making art again, so I’ve been drawing more. It’s just sketches and random stuff for now, no major pieces yet. Soon. ish.
