As we prepare for our Big Move, I keep having these “doh!” moments where I suddenly remember something important that needs to happen.
Yesterday, I realized that at some point I will have to shut down my private web server. I set it up last year to run my geek site, dj-codes. You can still read about it if you want to geek out.
It’s been running just fine, and I enjoyed building and maintaining it, but the move is going to interrupt things enough that it made me rethink having a separate site. Besides, my domain collection is getting a little out of hand. I may be addicted.
So I decided to fold all my geek posts into this site.
This is one reason I love WordPress. It was super easy to export all my posts and import them here. I think it took all of five minutes.
If you nerd out on tech, you’ll enjoy seeing those posts when they arrive. If not, just pretend they didn’t happen. More non-nerd posts will arrive soon, I promise.
Okay, now I have to make like Obi-Wan Kenobi and shut down the main reactor. Beeeeee-oooooooooo-mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…
